Teaching Philosophy

Your swing isn’t broken. Your body just hasn’t been trained to support it yet. After 15 years coaching golfers at every level from beginners to competitive players, the same pattern shows up constantly. Golfers who can’t improve aren’t lacking swing knowledge. They’re missing the physical foundation the swing demands. That’s what I fix. My coaching is built on four pillars: technique, physical capability, equipment fit, and mental fortitude. Before I suggest a single change I screen all four, because treating a symptom without understanding the cause is why most lessons don’t stick. What makes my approach different is the depth of the diagnosis. Using TrackMan launch data, 3D ground force analysis, and TPI-certified movement screening across golf, fitness, and strength, I don’t guess at what’s wrong. I measure it. You’ll know exactly what your body is doing, why it’s doing it, and what needs to change, in terms you can actually feel and train. I don’t hand you a program and walk away. I manage your development the way a performance coach manages an athlete tracking progress, adjusting the plan, and holding myself accountable to your results. If you’ve taken lessons and nothing has lasted this is a different experience.

About the coach

I'm a PGA of Canada Class A Professional and Director of Instruction at the Geared to Golf Performance Centre, based in Brooklin, Ontario. With over 15 years of coaching experience, I've had the privilege of conducting thousands of lessons and working with golfers of all levels — from motivated beginners to NCAA Division I competitors in the United States.

My background is built on a foundation of science and performance. I hold TPI Level 2 certifications in Golf, Fitness, and Strength, and I've completed advanced training in the 3D biomechanics of golf. In my coaching, I leverage Trackman launch monitor data and force plate technology to deliver the kind of precise, objective feedback that elite performance demands.

At my Geared to Golf Performance Centre, I've built an environment focused on high-level instruction and junior athlete development — a space where serious golfers come to get serious results. Whether I'm helping a junior reach their competitive potential, working with an amateur to break a scoring plateau, or refining the game of an elite player, my process is always rooted in identifying the real cause of the problem before prescribing the solution.

I screen every student across four dimensions: technique, physical ability, equipment suitability, and mental game. This diagnostic-first approach lets me create truly customised training plans — and more importantly, manage those plans through to completion. I don't hand you a programme and wave goodbye; I stay invested in your journey every step of the way. With me, excellence isn't just the goal — it's the standard.

Chipping without the embarrassment

Chipping Without The Embarrassment The chip shot is one of the simplest shots in golf. So why does it cause so much anxiety? Because nobody ever taught you what your body needs to do to make clean, consistent contact from around the green. Instead you’ve been told to “keep your head down” and “don’t scoop” — and it still doesn’t work. This video changes that. In one focused session I break down the exact body mechanics behind a reliable chip shot — the weight distribution, the lead leg pressure, the arm structure, and the movement pattern that makes thin and fat shots disappear. No complicated technique. No swing overhaul. Just the body doing what it needs to do. What you’ll learn: • Why most chunked and thinned chips are a body problem not a technique problem • The ground force principles that create clean ball-first contact every time • A simple movement pattern you can feel and repeat under pressure • How to stop fearing the chip and start attacking the pin One video. One fix. Zero embarrassment.

Stop Losing Power At Impact — The Lead Leg Fix

Stop Losing Power At Impact: The Lead Leg Fix Most amateurs drain power at the exact moment they should be creating it — and they have no idea it’s happening. The club pulls down and right through the finish. The body follows it. Contact breaks down, distance disappears, and no amount of practice fixes it — because nobody has shown you what’s actually causing it. The cause is ground force. Specifically, the absence of it. Your lead leg is the single most powerful braking mechanism in the golf swing. When it plants and braces through impact, it creates a force wall the club has to work against. That resistance is what transfers energy into the ball. Without it, the club wins — and it drags you with it every time. This is the same ground force principle used by every long, powerful ball striker on Tour. It’s not a secret. It’s physics. And it’s completely trainable. What this course teaches: • How to feel and create genuine lead leg pressure at impact • Why your finish position is a symptom of what your leg does — or doesn’t do • The specific drills that train ground force bracing without mechanical thinking • How this one fix cleans up contact, adds distance, and stabilizes your entire swing This isn’t a tip. It’s a mechanical shift built on TPI ground force methodology that changes how your body delivers the club permanently. The ground doesn’t lie. Learn to use it.

Front and Center: The Vertical Arm Principle

Arm Movement Fundamentals In this 20 minute video I discuss, Our arm mechanics are based on a simple but important principle: the arms move vertically — up and down — not around the body. Rather than pulling the arms back or swinging them to the sides, we elevate and lower them directly in front of the chest. This keeps the arms centered and controlled at all times, maintaining a consistent position in your field of movement. The motion is a straight vertical path — raise, lower, repeat — with the arms staying anchored in front of the chest throughout.

Add 20 Yards: The Ground Force Backswing System

Add 20 Yards: The Ground Force Backswing System 45 Videos Most golfers lose their power before the club ever reaches the top. This course shows you exactly why — and exactly how to fix it. The backswing isn’t just a setup move. It’s where ground force begins, where rotation loads, and where everything that happens at impact is decided. Get it wrong and no amount of swing tips will save you. Get it right and power, consistency, and distance follow naturally. Built on TPI methodology and advanced 3D ground force principles used with competitive and elite players, this 45-video course breaks down the backswing into the specific body mechanics that actually drive performance — hip mobility, thoracic rotation, pressure shift, and the sequencing that creates real coil without tension. You’ll stop fighting your swing and start loading it. What this course fixes: • The rushed takeaway that collapses your rotation before it starts • The arm-body disconnect that kills width and power • The hip and thoracic limitations that cap your turn • The pressure patterns that should be loading your swing — but aren’t This isn’t about swing positions. It’s about teaching your body to move the way a powerful backswing actually requires. If you’ve been told to “turn more” and it never works — this is why. Your body hasn’t been trained to do it yet. That’s what this course does.

Fix Your Swing At Home: The Body Movement Method

Fix Your Swing At Home: The Body Movement Method 32 Videos Most golfers practice their swing but never fix the body producing it. This course changes that. This 32-video library teaches you exactly how to prepare and train your body for a more powerful, consistent, and injury-free golf swing — no ball, no range, no equipment needed. Just you, your body, and the movement patterns that actually drive performance. Built around the same TPI-certified methodology used with elite players, each session targets the specific mobility, stability, and activation patterns your golf swing demands. You’ll improve how your body rotates, how your feet generate force from the ground, and how your sequencing creates effortless speed — the things swing tips never address. Whether you have 10 minutes before a round or you’re committed to transforming your movement over a full season, this library meets you where you are and builds the athletic foundation your swing has been missing. What you’ll develop: • Hip and thoracic mobility for a fuller, freer backswing • Ground force activation for more power without swinging harder • Rotational stability to stop the breakdown at impact • A pre-round routine that actually prepares your body — not just loosens it If your swing keeps breaking down and lessons haven’t fixed it — this is why. The problem was never your swing. It was your body.
