Teaching Philosophy

My coaching philosophy is built on one simple belief: long-term, repeatable success is the only success worth chasing. I'm not interested in band-aid fixes or quick tips that fall apart under pressure. Whether you're a touring professional or a weekend warrior, my approach starts the same way — understanding how your body moves, identifying physical limitations, and building a swing that works with your unique mechanics, not against them. I rely on tools like 3D swing analysis, physical assessment and force plate data to take the guesswork out of the process, so we always know exactly what we're working on and why. I believe no single drill is right for every golfer, so I take the time to diagnose the root cause of an issue and then find the best way for that specific individual to address it. Most importantly, I want every student to fully understand what we're doing together and believe in the process — because commitment to that process is what ultimately unlocks your potential.

About the coach

I'm a PGA Professional and TPI Level 2 Golf & Fitness Expert with over a decade in the golf industry, and the founder of Elite Golf Performance. I've built my expertise at the intersection of swing coaching, golf-specific fitness, and advanced movement analysis — training under Golf Digest Top 50 Fitness Instructor Jason Meisch. I've worked with golfers across the full spectrum — from PGA Tour players to those just picking up the game — and I've been recognized as All-Met Coach of the Year for my work developing young golfers. I founded the Washington Area Girls Golf League, which provides opportunity to girls to play in a competitive environment in high school. Now based in Charleston, SC, I offer both in-person and online coaching that blends 3D swing biomechanics, force plate data, physical screening, and personalized instruction to give every student a clear, individualized roadmap for improvement. My goal is simple: help you move better, swing more efficiently, and play your best golf — for the long haul.
