Chip Fit Challenge

Chip Fit Challenge

About this course

Now it may seem a bit strange that I have paired short game and mobility however let me tell you a very quick story. I trained 40 golfers in the gym for 12-24 months and in that time every single one of them gained distance and lowered their handicap. EVERY SINGLE ONE!! Some had lessons with me and saw bigger results but the people who didn’t still dropped their handicap. They all improved their mobility, felt better, moved better. So as much as targeting your short game is a big part of this challenge in lowering your scores, we are going to address your full swing indirectly using specific exercises to train your flexibility and mobility. Chipping on the other hand makes or breaks golfers rounds every single weekend… I’m sure you have experienced this first hand at some point. Over the last 6 months I have been obsessed with learning more and more about chipping, what the data says and how to then apply it to my coaching. Here are your outcomes over the next 30 days: 1. Have the ability to make solid contact around the green on all lies (soft, firm, fluffy, tight) 2. Improve your distance and trajectory control and understand how to adjust it when needed 3. Move more freely in your swing and have less aches and pains day to day that is caused from a lack of mobility 4. Add 10y of distance- YES just from following some simple exercises daily. 5. Have the confidence to walk out on the course and not fear missing the green on the short side or having to chip up over a bunker. What’s Needed: 1. 15 minutes/ day for the exercises 2. 15-30 minutes/ day to work on your chipping technique. This can be done in your backyard or with foam balls inside. Dry swings using your phone or in front of a mirror will be acceptable but ideally you can hit some chip shots 3 days/ week Learning what you need to do is 1 thing, but actually applying it the best that you can is what really counts and that is where I come in messaging you everyday to push you and keep you accountable! What’s included: - 2x Online lessons/ week- 8 total (+ a follow up for each so I can see that you understand what I’ve taught) - Daily mobility routines that progressively get more challenging as the weeks go on. We will target you Thoracic Rotation, Hip and Pelvic Mobility. So if you are ready to build some confidence around your chipping and move and feel better at the same time, now’s your chance! Let’s get after it 👊
