Teaching Philosophy
I believe great golf coaching starts with truly understanding the person in front of you — not just their swing, but their goals, their frustrations, and how they learn best. Before coming into golf, I spent 20 years in retail, and that background taught me how to connect with people, solve problems, and communicate ideas in a way that actually lands. I bring that same clarity and patience to every lesson. I'm passionate about using technology and data to take the guesswork out of improvement — whether that's video analysis, launch data, or wrist sensor feedback, I want you to understand exactly what your swing is doing and why. Every session is tailored to you: practical drills, focused feedback, and a no-pressure environment where you can actually absorb and apply what you're working on. My goal is simple — to make you a more confident, consistent golfer who genuinely enjoys the game more.
About the coach
I'm a PGA coach based at Broome Manor Golf Complex in Swindon, coaching with the Swindon Premier Golf Academy. My passion is helping everyday golfers play better and enjoy the game more — whether you're a complete beginner, a mid-handicapper looking to break through, or an experienced player ironing out persistent faults. Before moving into golf coaching, I spent 20 years in retail, which gave me a real edge in communication: I know how to explain complex ideas simply, adapt to different learning styles, and keep things enjoyable rather than overwhelming. I'm a firm believer in data and technology as tools for accelerating improvement. I use video analysis and modern training aids to give you a clear picture of what's actually happening in your swing — and a precise roadmap for how to improve it. Every lesson, whether in-person at Broome Manor or online, is fully personalised. You'll receive customised video walkthroughs, targeted drills, and detailed feedback explaining what your swing is currently achieving and how we can build on it. With over 316 lessons delivered online alone, I've helped golfers at all levels sharpen their short game, fix their full swing, add distance, and gain confidence playing from any situation on the course.
