About the coach

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me and my story as a 20+ year PGA Teaching Professional. Whether it is in person or remote coaching, helping my students on their journey in golf is my passion.

Over the past 25+ years I have taught over 30,000 lessons including hundreds of remote sessions. I first started remote coaching over 8 years ago when a couple of my long time students moved away but wanted to continue. I was amazed at how effective this process was and as you can imagine it has only grown stronger over the years. I am happy to bring my knowledge and highly effective remote coaching process to the Skillest platform and am ready to help you reach your short term and long term goals in this amazing sport.

My passion for coaching recently lead me to design and build a dream performance studio at my home including a short game complex. This studio was designed with remote coaching in mind. I have all of the tools needed to help you along the way.

I pride myself on communication. I use the latest technology including high speed cameras, launch monitors, 3d motion capture software as well as other tools to help you along the way. I try to articulate a complicated topic in the simplest fashion without overwhelming you. I will also focus on the root causes and get you to completely understand YOUR swing and what YOU need to do to get to the next level. I am here to help.

On Skillest, you can get private instruction with an elite golf coach without even leaving your home. Just record your golf swing and send it to your coach, along with any goals, questions, or other information that will help your coach create the right plan for you.

What are the benefits of an online lesson using Skillest?

Online golf lessons using Skillest offer many benefits, such as convenience, affordability, flexibility, and access to the largest selection of the most talented golf coaches in one place. Through video recordings, side by side comparisons, and conversations you have with your coach, you will receive comprehensive feedback on what you need to improve and how to improve these areas. When you get a lesson on Skillest, you don’t need to schedule a time or drive to your lesson. You can just record your swing and message your coach whenever you have questions.

How do I receive feedback from my coach?

You will receive feedback from your coach through the Skillest app. Your coach will record their own videos with their analysis as well as additional drills to work on and send them back to you inside the lesson. You can watch your coach’s analysis, which may include video, audio, text, or drawings and see the changes and improvements they suggest for your swing. You can also ask your coach follow-up questions you have, and chat with them through the app. You can also review your feedback and track your progress anytime on the app.

What are the different types of lesson plans I can purchase?
