Stuart Cartwright – PGA Professional
Founder | Good Golf Coaching
I’m a PGA Professional with over 30 years of coaching experience, working with golfers at every level — from club players to tour professionals.
Across my career, I’ve coached and worked alongside European Tour players including Nick Dougherty, Steve Webster and Mark Davis, and I currently coach elite female professionals, including Lily May Humphreys on the Ladies European Tour. This experience at the highest level of the game shapes everything I do as a coach.
My coaching philosophy is built around cause and effect. Rather than chasing positions or quick fixes, I focus on the real drivers of ball flight — pressure through the handle, arm and body sequencing, rotation, and strike control. These are the fundamentals that hold up under pressure, on the course, not just on the range.
I’m known for cutting through confusion. Golfers come to me when they’ve tried too many tips, watched too much YouTube, or feel stuck despite working hard. My job is to simplify the process, identify the true priorities, and give players clear, repeatable feels they can trust.

1 Online Lesson- Good Golf Coaching – Lesson Package
- This is a complete coaching package designed to create real, lasting change in your golf swing — not quick fixes or guesswork.
- We start with a full initial swing analysis, breaking down your setup, movement patterns, sequencing and strike. You’ll get a clear explanation of what’s actually holding you back, and why.
- From there, I’ll design three bespoke drills, built specifically for your swing and your tendencies. These are not generic YouTube drills — they are chosen to create the biggest improvement with the least complication.
- Once you’ve worked through the drills, you’ll send me your drill footage for detailed feedback and refinement. This step ensures you’re training the right feels and not building new compensations.
- After you’ve put in the work — typically 400–500 balls — we finish with a final swing analysis. This confirms what’s changed, what’s improved, and what you should continue to focus on to keep your swing moving in the right direction.

- We begin with a detailed swing analysis, identifying the one or two key movements that will give you the biggest improvement for the least effort. You’ll understand exactly what to work on and why, removing confusion and overthinking.
- You’ll then receive two bespoke drills, chosen specifically for your swing and your ball-flight patterns. These drills are built to create the right pressures, sequencing and strike — not surface-level changes.
- Included in this package is a 10-minute Zoom call, where we walk through your analysis together. This is your chance to ask questions, clarify feels, and make sure you’re training with total confidence.
- After you’ve put the work in, you’ll send through an updated swing for your second lesson analysis. I’ll review your progress, highlight what’s improved, and fine-tune your priorities so you know exactly how to continue improving on your own.
