About the coach

My coaching is centred on long-term improvement, helping players create efficient, repeatable swings that match how they move. Helping golfers understand their own movement patterns and build a swing that works with – not against – their natural ability. Ultimately creating lasting enjoyment of the game and development in performing on the golf course!

With nearly a decade of coaching experience, I’ve worked in the U.S. alongside college coaches and learned from mentors such as Alex Buckner, Steve Astle, and PGA President Malcolm Scott.

I know that many players may be skeptical about online lessons, but I can assure you that they can be just as effective as in-person lessons. I myself took online lessons during the Covid lockdown, and was surprised at how helpful they were. That's why I am confident in delivering online lessons that will help you improve your game. But I think just as important, working with me, you’ll also be working with a coach who CARES, is at the end of the phone for you and goes the extra mile for his clients (in-person & online) to help with any questions or queries.

My online lessons are simple and easy to follow. You will upload two videos of your swing, one from a down-the-line angle and one from a face-on angle (camera angles will be provided). I will then return an analysis of your swing with a talk-through about why these flight issues are happening so you can understand your own swing faults. This is vitally important for you to improve and work away from.

Following this, I will send a video of myself explaining and demonstrating drills and exercises that will help improve your game. Additionally, I will need some details about your current game such as your ball flight tendencies, bad shots, and ultimately what your goals are from working with me in these golf lessons.
