Teaching Philosophy
My coaching philosophy is built on one core belief: every golfer is different, and real improvement only happens when coaching is tailored to the individual. I specialise in identifying each student's unique tendencies and patterns, then providing clear, actionable solutions that cut through the noise — eliminating the frustration that comes from guesswork, conflicting advice, or endless trial and error. I draw on data from launch monitor technology and detailed video analysis to give students an accurate picture of what's really happening in their swing or short game. But technology is only part of the story. I translate those insights into practical, feel-based guidance that students can actually apply on the course. Whether you're a complete beginner stepping onto the range for the first time, a weekend golfer looking to break through a scoring barrier, or a committed amateur chasing a handicap goal, I'll build a coaching plan around your specific needs and schedule. I want every student to leave a lesson feeling more confident, with a clear sense of purpose and a concrete path forward. Golf should be enjoyable — and with the right guidance, it can be.
About the coach
I'm a PGA Professional and co-founder of The Golf Studio, a first-class indoor coaching and practice facility located in Lower Kingswood, Surrey. With over 20 years of full-time coaching experience behind me, I've worked with golfers across every level — from complete beginners picking up a club for the first time to competitive amateurs seeking to sharpen their performance.
The Golf Studio was purpose-built to give students the very best environment for improvement. Our facility features custom-built hitting bays with GC2 launch monitor technology and a dedicated short game and putting bay equipped with a Tomi putting system — everything needed to analyse and improve every part of your game under one roof. Every lesson includes video analysis and a personalised video summary, so you can review your session and reinforce your progress away from the studio.
My approach is diagnostic first. I focus on understanding your individual swing tendencies and game patterns before building a tailored plan that delivers real, lasting results. I also incorporate mental game and on-course strategy coaching, because technical improvement only goes so far without the right mindset and decision-making to back it up.
Based in the heart of Surrey — just two minutes from Junction 8 of the M25 and surrounded by some of the county's finest golf clubs — The Golf Studio is ideally placed for golfers across the South East.
