About the coach

PGA Coach based at Royal Portrush Golf Club, host of the 2019 and 2026 Open Championship. I have nearly 20 years' experience coaching golfers from all over the world and I am ready to help you achieve your goals!!

For 11 years I was Senior Instructor at St Andrews Links Golf Academy, giving over 2000 lessons annually where I would lead and deliver world class programmes to golfers and visitor alike. In 2022 I was fortunate enough to play on the weekend of the 150th Open Championship as marker to some of the world’ finest golfers.

Some players want the quick fix so they can perform on the weekend. Some love detail and an endless search for perfection. I believe that great instruction is about helping you understand the best ways for you to become the golfer you desire, giving you the tools to find improvement and the habits to sustain them.

Many people might be sceptical of online lessons but we will work together to make sure you know EXACTLY what you need to do and most importantly HOW to do it. I promote regular check ins and a simple philosophy of Clarity, Commitment, Confidence. I’ve seen this work too many times for it not to help you!!
