Teaching Philosophy
I believe great coaching starts with making things simple. Having competed at the highest levels of the game, I know first-hand how much the mind influences performance. When you simplify your swing thoughts and feel confident over the ball, everything else follows. My goal in every lesson is to give you clear, focused feedback that you can actually use — not a list of ten things to think about, but the one or two changes that will make the biggest difference. I use video analysis to capture your swing and send you footage with notes after every session, so you always leave with something tangible to work on. Whether you're a complete beginner picking up a club for the first time, a junior looking to develop your game, or a scratch player preparing to compete, I tailor every lesson to where you are and where you want to go. I create a welcoming, supportive environment where golfers can learn, improve, and genuinely enjoy the game. I'm also committed to my own ongoing development as a coach, regularly seeking out mentorship and new ideas so that what I bring to your lesson is always sharp, current, and effective.
About the coach
I'm a PGA Golf Coach and former Ladies European Tour Professional, based in West Yorkshire and coaching at The Manor (Leeds) and Woodsome Hall Golf Club (Huddersfield). I competed on the Ladies European Tour from 2019 to 2023, and my playing career before that included representing both England and Great Britain & Ireland at the elite amateur level — most memorably as part of the winning GB&I Curtis Cup team in 2016, the women's amateur equivalent of the Ryder Cup. As an amateur I won the Leveret Trophy & The European Faldo Series. I was also a runner-up at the English Women's Amateur Championship and the English Women's Open Strokeplay Championship. I've been coaching for over five years and work with golfers of all abilities, from complete beginners and juniors through to scratch players. My lessons are practical, personalised, and grounded in the real experience of competing at tour level. I use video analysis in sessions and send students their swing footage with notes afterwards, so the learning continues long after we've left the course. I'm passionate about making golf more accessible — particularly for women and juniors — and I pride myself on creating a welcoming, supportive atmosphere where every golfer can thrive.
