Teaching Philosophy
My philosophy is rooted in the holistic approach โ I look at ALL aspects of a player's game before making any decisions. Too many golfers spend hours on the range chasing random swing fixes, changing feels week to week, and never building a game that truly trends in the right direction. I want to change that. Every lesson I coach starts with fact, not guesswork. Using TrackMan 4, high-speed cameras, and tools like HackMotion and Sportsbox, I know exactly where the ball is going, what the club is doing, and how your body is moving โ so we're always working on the right thing. From there, we build clarity and structure: a clear roadmap of what to practise, how often, and how it links directly to your performance on the course. I specialise in helping golfers โ especially those who sit most of the day and struggle with posture, rotation, and consistent impact โ build coaching plans that fit their real lives, whether that's a home net, range sessions, or on-course practice. Technical simplicity is key: I break swing improvements into meaningful, manageable habits so you embed change rather than chase it. For me, great coaching is also about accountability and support. I stay in constant contact with my players between sessions โ setting targets, gathering feedback, and refining the plan. Whether you're a touring professional fine-tuning your game or a club golfer who simply wants to play better and enjoy it more, my approach is the same: simple, effective, and built entirely around you.
About the coach
I'm Rob Bluck, PGA Advanced Professional, Golf Academy Director, and Head Professional at the National Award-Winning 3 Hammers Golf Complex in Wolverhampton, England. With over 25 years of PGA coaching experience and a playing background that includes competing at EuroPro and Challenge Tour level, I bring both elite insight and deep instructional expertise to every lesson I give.
I'm proud to be recognised as a Skillest Top 50 Online Coach Worldwide, having completed thousands of lessons with golfers of all abilities โ from weekend club players to Tour Professionals and Elite Amateurs. My credentials include being a Leadbetter Certified Instructor, TrackMan Certified Professional, and Aimpoint Green Reading Certified (Level 1 & 2), and I've served as Lead Coach on the Player Performance Programme and as the Staffordshire County Girls Lead Coach.
My coaching is technology-driven and data-backed. Every in-person session uses TrackMan 4 and high-speed video analysis, while my online coaching delivers detailed video breakdowns, personalised drills, and customised practice plans โ with flexible options from a single swing analysis through to unlimited lessons with Zoom check-ins.
