Teaching Philosophy
I believe there are five fundamentals to the game of golf. Number one is grip, number two is set up. These are non-negotiable. Number three is the impact area, number four is club face control, and number five is course management. Everything we do in a golf swing will fall around or within one of these five fundamentals. Most importantly, we have to be very good at number five course management. We all play golf on a golf course and we need to remember that when we’re working on our game. My teaching focuses around these five areas. My number one goal is, can I take a game that is very complex and make it easy for my student to understand the motion know why they are doing it and what it is doing to their swing and can we create the best pattern possible.
