About the coach

Hi I’m Richie, An experienced PGA Coach of nearly TWENTY years! This is where my passion for golf meets professional expertise.

I had such a great experience in my early years as a coach, starting at Formby Hall in 2008, and becoming good friends with Tommy Fleetwood as he rose through the ranks from an elite amateur, to tour winner. Spending time with Tommy through practice, coaching, and playing helped me develop as a coach, and created an incredibly strong platform for me to help players improve their games.

Not only was I fortunate to rub shoulders with Tommy, but also at Formby Hall, is where world renowned putting guru Phil Kenyon set up his Putting Coaching HQ. Phil was instrumental in my development as a coach, he helped me by challenging me to understand the science and evidence of golf and coaching techniques, and led by example in his abilities as a coach, working with the worlds best players.

Through Tommy and Phil, I was able to meet many other coaches and players who helped shape my passion for coaching, and steer me in a direction of performance and improvement.
