Hi I’m Patrick, a golf coach based in Northern Ireland. I believe the golf swing is inherently complex and to try and simplify it would be ineffective and incomplete. That’s not to say coaching approaches and change should not be simple. I have been coaching for 13 years, and I have never been more sure for a coach to go after a golfer’s route issue requires a deep understanding around the complex nuances of human movement and resultant cause and effect on the club. Procedural knowledge bridges the gab between complex and simple I.e. the application of changing the golfers mechanics/biomechanics through simple coaching processes. Like you I am on a journey to further develop skills. Through further education and gaining coaching experience, I’m looking to help make the golfers journey towards positive long lasting changes seamless and enjoyable.
