About the coach

I’ve been a Tour pro for over 20 years, playing on the DP World Tour and PGA Tour, I played in the RYDER CUP and have won multiple times. My success came from creating simple systems, routines and habits that work and allowed me to constantly improve. I’ve learnt from the best coaches and players in the world, figured out what truly makes a difference in performance…and more importantly, what absolutely doesn’t!

Most golfers put in the effort but usually the effort is in the wrong areas. My coaching is about creating clarity with regular feedback. We will strip away all the confusion and give you the few key priorities that matter most for your swing, short game or putting based around your body, and the way you move and play the game.

I’m big on building simple baselines, clear concepts, and reliable patterns that hold up when you’re on the course. My goal is always the same; to help you score better, not just look better on video.

I coach players of all levels but I’ve naturally gravitated toward mentoring ambitious juniors, college players and professionals who want to understand the game at a deeper level. If you’re serious about improving, we’ll get on great.

Online coaching works brilliantly because you learn at your own pace and you’re never left guessing due to my regular feedback.

* I offer a video call to start for a game evaluation.

* Then I’ll ask for a couple of swing videos from face-on and down-the-line, plus some specific putting angles if needed.

* Within 24 hours you’ll get a full analysis explaining what’s going on and what needs to improve.

* You’ll then get a personalised video of me showing exactly how to do it.

* Unlimited feedback. You can message me as much as you like, feedback is everything, and I want to make sure you’re always moving in the right direction.

Everything I teach comes from two decades of competing at the highest level; winning, losing, rebuilding, and constantly problem-solving with some of the best coaches in the world, in all areas of the game.

I am renowned for my detailed approach to Golf and not leaving any stone unturned as I’ve investigated many aspects like Ground Force Reactions, Biomechanics and Speed Training too. Through this process I’ve learnt what is actually important and the easiest way to get there. Those lessons, systems, and ideas are what I try to pass on, in the simplest possible way.

I split my coaching between online work here on Skillest and in-person lessons in Charlotte, NC and London, where I also can run playing lessons, clinics and performance days.
