Teaching Philosophy

Coaching golf is something I'm extremely passionate about, and my approach has always been built on one core belief: every golfer, regardless of age or ability, deserves clear, simple, and personalised instruction. I don't believe in overcomplicating things — my students consistently tell me they value the way I break down what can be a complex game into manageable, actionable steps that produce real improvements quickly. I use video analysis and launch monitor technology to give objective, data-driven feedback, but I always make sure the information I share is easy to understand and directly relevant to your game. Whether I'm working with a complete beginner on the fundamentals, a junior developing their competitive skills, or an experienced golfer chasing a lower handicap, I tailor every session to the individual in front of me. I pride myself on being approachable, patient, and genuinely invested in each student's journey. I'm not just here to deliver a lesson and move on — I'm in it with you for the long run, pushing you towards your goals and celebrating every step of progress along the way. My goal is simple: to help you improve your game, lower your handicap, and enjoy this wonderful sport as much as I do.

About the coach

I'm a PGA Teaching Professional and Golf Monthly UK Top 50 Coach based at Dibden Golf Centre in Hampshire, with over a decade of full-time coaching experience. My journey in golf began when I was 15, and after studying Golf Science at the University of Lincoln and completing my PGA Golf Teaching Degree at the University of Birmingham, I moved to Southampton in 2012 to start my professional career. In 2016, I founded NC Golf, my own coaching company, and have since built one of the most comprehensive and community-driven golf coaching programmes in the south of England.

I coach golfers from absolute beginners right through to elite juniors and university-level competitors, including students who have gone on to compete professionally on tour. I also serve as the County U12 & U14 Squad Coach — a role I take enormous pride in — and have grown the junior programme at Dibden Golf Centre from nothing to over 100 junior members in just three years, with a structured pathway that England Golf has recognised as one of the most forward-thinking in the region.

In 2026, I was shortlisted for the Participation & Development Coach of the Year Award at the England Golf Awards, a recognition that reflects not just my coaching, but the community impact I strive to make through women's programmes, junior development, and inclusive golf initiatives. I'm also co-owner of Aces Indoor Golf Studio at Dibden, offering year-round coaching with simulators and GC Quad launch monitor technology.

With over 4,000 online lessons delivered, I bring the same dedication and attentiveness to my remote coaching as I do in person — offering video analysis, demonstrations, and structured practice plans to students all over the world.

It offers ways in which to structure your practice sessions, drills to work on and how to get the most out of your game. Each week has specific putting, short game and full swing drills and recommendations. This plan has a total of 79 documents!
