Teaching Philosophy
My coaching philosophy has remained consistent throughout my career: I believe passionately in coaching to the individual. Every golfer is unique — different goals, different abilities, different time scales, commitment levels, and physical capabilities. There is no one-size-fits-all solution in golf, and it's this personalised approach that has allowed me to achieve success with players across every level, from complete beginners to professionals competing on the world stage. I take a holistic view of performance. Technical work is only one piece of the puzzle. True improvement comes from developing all the layers that lead to peak performance — skill-building practice methods, sports psychology, fitness, nutrition, and course management. I use the very best technology, including Trackman launch monitor data and high-speed camera footage, to give my players the clearest, most accurate picture of their game possible. My move to Dallas and my work at one of the world's premier performance environments has only deepened this philosophy. Working alongside world-class coaches and elite athletes every day sharpens my ability to bring the highest level of insight to every student I coach — whether they're a 30-handicapper looking to break 90 or a touring professional preparing for a Major. My motto is simple: Aspire. Commit. Achieve.

I’m a PGA Advanced Fellow Professional and High Performance Coach at Altus Performance in Dallas, Texas, working alongside some of the best coaching minds in the game. With more than 23 years of coaching experience, my passion is helping players unlock their potential through world-class coaching, clear communication, and proven development systems.
Before moving to the U.S., I built one of the UK’s leading coaching academies at Machynys Peninsula Golf Club, where I served as Head Professional and Director of Instruction at the National Centre of Excellence.
My coaching career has included:
