Teaching Philosophy
I believe that real, lasting improvement doesn't come from the occasional lesson — it comes from a mentorship. My goal isn't to give you a tip and send you on your way; it's to build a complete blueprint for your game, one that's technically sound, strategically sharp, and mentally bulletproof. My philosophy is built around three pillars: Technique, Performance, and Skill. I want you to understand what you're doing, why you're doing it, and how to execute it under pressure on the course. As a TPI Certified coach, I know you can't separate your body from your swing — so I bring physical preparation into every conversation alongside mechanics, short game, putting, and course management. I self-funded my own professional career, worked multiple jobs to keep competing, and earned every opportunity through sheer determination. That experience gives me a deep understanding of the grind — and it means I'll always invest in your journey the same way I invested in mine. Whether you're fighting a slice, chasing more distance, or trying to dial in your mental game, I want to take real shots off your handicap — not just talk about it. About the coach
I'm a touring professional golfer and performance coach and the founder of MTM Golf Performance, based in Chester, England. I've spent over eight years competing at the highest levels of European professional golf — Earning my playing rights the hard way. My proudest moment on tour came when I won on the Alps Tour in Guadeloupe by three shots, briefly reaching the top of the Order of Merit before finishing inside the top five to secure full Challenge Tour playing rights for the following season.
My story isn't one of overnight success. I self-funded my playing career, worked multiple jobs to keep competing, and used whatever resources I had — including a training mat and net in a local gym — to keep my game sharp. That resilience is baked into everything I do as a coach.
Now, as Head Coaching Professional at Ellesmere Port Golf Club and founder of MTM Golf Performance, I've channelled all of that experience into helping everyday golfers take real shots off their handicap. I'm TPI Certified, which means I understand how your body directly impacts your swing — and I build coaching programmes that address the full picture: swing mechanics, short game, putting, course management, and physical preparation.
I'm passionate about mentorship over sporadic lessons. I want to be the coach in your pocket — someone who builds a long-term plan with you, tracks your progress, and is there when you need guidance. I offer video analysis, practice plans, online lessons and live FaceTime lessons that make elite-level instruction accessible to golfers anywhere in the world.
