Teaching Philosophy
My coaching philosophy is shaped entirely by what I experience week-to-week competing at the highest level. When you're inside the ropes on the Sunshine Tour, you learn fast what actually holds up under pressure and what falls apart — and that knowledge goes directly into every lesson I give. During my time training at Urban Golf Performance in Los Angeles, I worked alongside Rick Sessinghaus, the coach behind Collin Morikawa's two Major Championships. That experience sharpened my understanding of external cues and motor learning science — a more effective, evidence-based way of building lasting swing changes rather than relying on mechanical swing thoughts that break down when it matters most. I don't believe in quick fixes. I believe in building a game that holds up when the scoreboard is real and the pressure is on. Whether I'm working on your technical mechanics, your course management, or your mental approach to competition, I approach every session the same way I approach my own game: with data, intent, and a clear plan. My goal is to give every student the same professional oversight I apply to my own career — structured, performance-focused, and built around measurable progress. About the coach
I'm a PGA of Ireland Professional and active touring professional competing on the Sunshine Tour; one of the world's most competitive international tours, bringing a genuinely tournament-tested perspective to every lesson.
Based at The K Club in Ireland 🇮🇪 The iconic venue that has hosted the Ryder Cup and the Irish Open — I've built my game and my coaching career in one of the most demanding professional environments in Europe. I joined The K Club in 2019 and earned my Assistant Professional role in 2020, developing my coaching craft alongside my competitive career across the Irish PGA circuit, The Clutch Pro Tour, The Big Easy Tour, HotelPlanner Tour & The Sunshine Tour.
On the playing side, I carry 19 professional wins including a recent Big Easy Tour victory, and I was the 2022 PGA of Ireland Order of Merit Runner-Up and the highest-ranked Irish professional on the 2024 Clutch Pro Tour before committing to the Sunshine Tour full-time from 2025.
My coaching approach was significantly shaped by time spent at Urban Golf Performance in Los Angeles, where I trained alongside Rick Sessinghaus 👉The coach who has guided Collin Morikawa since the age of 8 and through 2 Major Championship victories. Working in that environment gave me deep exposure to external cueing, motor learning principles, and elite-level mental performance strategies that I now bring directly to my students.
I have been working with Peter Arnott of Practice Thinkers (Author of A Constraints-Led Approach to Golf Coaching & The Tiger Practice Guide) as my performance and practice coach since 2023 and I use the knowledge of what I learned from him to help you to get your swing to transfer to the course.
I don't offer generic instruction. I offer a performance partnership. The same professional oversight I apply to my own career. Whether you want to sharpen your ball-striking, build a tournament-ready game, or simply understand your swing the way a touring pro does, I'm here to make that happen.
