Teaching Philosophy

Golf has given me everything — community, competition, lifelong friendships, and purpose. After more than a decade competing at the professional level, I've come to believe that the most meaningful thing I can do with the game is share it. My approach to teaching is rooted in the genuine belief that golf is a game for life, and every student — whether they're a first-time junior picking up a club or an experienced player chasing a lower handicap — deserves instruction that's both effective and enjoyable. I draw on my years of high-level competitive experience to give students a real understanding of what it takes to improve, while keeping lessons approachable and fun. I especially love working with juniors who have the drive to learn, because introducing a young person to this game and watching it become part of their life is one of the most rewarding things I do. For adults, my goal is always the same: help you build skills that translate onto the course and make you fall more in love with the game. Golf has a way of connecting us to nature, to each other, and to ourselves — and I never lose sight of that bigger picture when I'm teaching.
