Teaching Philosophy
I have spent twelve years traveling the world as a professional golfer, competing week to week with limited time and energy to practice. That experience shaped how I think about improvement. Most golfers do not have hours to spend on the range every day. Neither did I for most of my career. What I learned is that how you practice matters far more than how much you practice. The biggest factor in improved performance is not technique. It is single minded focus. The ability to step onto the course and play the shot in front of you without distraction. My coaching is built around helping players to practice in a way that supports that focus. Technique is something that should help you play better, it shouldn't be another thing to think about over the ball. I offer flexible coaching to suit how you want to work. Single lessons are available if you want specific feedback on one area of your game. For players who want more, ongoing coaching covers every aspect of your game including technique, practice structure, and on course performance, with continuous, personalized feedback as you go. You do not need to overhaul your game to improve. Improvement comes from practicing smarter and trusting your game when you get to the course. That is what I help you do.

My coaching covers technique, practice structure, and on course performance together. I work with each player as an individual based on their specific needs, because there is no single blueprint that works for everyone.
Improved performance does not come from technique alone. It comes from the ability to step onto the course and play the shot in front of you without distraction. I help players to practice their technique in a way that supports this single-minded focus.
