Teaching Philosophy
My coaching philosophy is built on one simple idea: stop guessing, start improving. After 20+ years competing at the highest levels of the professional game — on the Asian Tour, the DP World Tour, and the PGTI — I've learned that lasting improvement doesn't come from tips or quick fixes. It comes from clear, structured systems and genuine accountability. I believe in teaching you how to play golf, not just how to swing. That means working on your full game — ball striking, short game, course management, and the mental side — so that when you're standing over a shot under pressure, you trust yourself completely. Every student I work with gets a customised plan tailored to where they are right now and where they want to go. I provide detailed video analysis and personalised drill videos so you know exactly what to work on and why. I respond to all feedback within 2–3 days so your improvement never stalls. Whether you're a beginner just trying to make consistent contact or a low-handicapper chasing elite performance, my goal is always the same: give you the tools, the clarity, and the support to become the best golfer you can be.
About the coach
I'm a PGA of Australia Certified Professional and Performance Coach with over 20 years of experience competing at the highest levels of professional golf — including the Asian Tour, the DP World Tour, the PGA Tour of Australasia, and the PGTI. I turned professional in 2006 and went on to win three times as a professional, including the CG Open at the Bombay Presidency Golf Club in Mumbai, where I also served as a coach.
After two decades on tour, I channelled everything I learned competing at the elite level into building The Logical Golfer — a digital coaching brand and community trusted by 1,000+ students worldwide. I also founded 9 Aces Golf Greens & Academy, a full-service golf facility based just outside Mumbai, offering everything from one-on-one to corporate clinics and elite junior development.
My coaching is data-driven and results-focused. In 2024, my students achieved remarkable improvements: beginners reduced their scores by over 30 shots in 6 months, mid-handicappers dropped 7.5 shots in 8 weeks, and golfers across all levels gained over 21 yards of distance. I deliver personalised video analysis, customised drill plans, and responsive feedback — so you're never left guessing about what to work on next.
