Teaching Philosophy
My coaching philosophy is built on one core belief: understanding is the foundation of improvement. I don't just tell you what to change — I help you understand why, so you can take ownership of your game and learn from every round you play. I draw on my background in biomechanics, psychology, and sports science to give each student a truly evidence-based experience. But I also believe that coaching should be enjoyable. I work hard to create a relaxed, supportive environment where golfers of every ability feel confident to experiment, ask questions, and grow. Improvement isn't just about your swing — it's about how you prepare for a round, your on-course decision-making, and your ability to analyse what's working and what isn't. I combine video analysis, customised drills, and detailed lesson notes to give you a complete picture of your game, and I stay invested in your progress between sessions through consistent, structured feedback. Whether you're brand new to the game or looking to break through a performance ceiling, I'll build a tailored plan around your individual goals and help you get there.

🤝 I believe that by giving you a comprehensive understanding of your own swing and providing you with the tools to improve it, you will play your best golf.

📊 Improving golf performance isn’t just about golf swing it’s also how we prepare for a round, our on course strategy and statistical analysis to improve planning.
The online process:
1. Upload two videos of your swing - one from the down the line angle and one from the face on angle
2. Provide as much information as you can about your game; ball flight, good shots, bad shots, what you would like to achieve etc.
3. I then return a voiceover analysis of your swing followed by videos of myself demonstrating drills and exercises that will help improve your game.
