Teaching Philosophy
My job as a coach is to teach you how to coach yourself. When you step onto the golf course, I want you to understand your game, have a clear plan of attack, and know what to do when things start to go sideways. Great coaching shouldn’t make you dependent on your coach—it should give you the knowledge and tools to recognize what’s happening, make the right adjustments, and play with confidence. I don’t believe there is one perfect golf swing. No two golfers move, learn, or play exactly the same way, so trying to fit every player into the same model doesn’t make sense. My job is to understand the player in front of me and help build a swing and a game that works for them. Everything we work on comes back to four fundamental ideas. These are the foundations I believe create better golf, and every change we make should move us toward greater success in those areas. The goal isn’t to build a perfect-looking golf swing. It’s to build a golfer who understands their game, can adapt when necessary, and knows how to get the ball around the golf course.
About the coach
Class “A” PGA of Canada Professional dedicated to helping golfers play better, understand their game, and enjoy golf more.
My approach to coaching is shaped by years of competitive experience, including playing professionally across North America on PGA Tour Canada and PGA Tour Latin America. Competing at that level taught me the importance of sound fundamentals, purposeful practice, course management, and developing a game that performs when it matters.
As a coach, I believe there is no single way to swing a golf club. Every golfer has different abilities, tendencies, goals, and experiences. My job is to simplify the game, identify what will make the biggest difference, and help each player build a repeatable approach they can trust on the course.
Whether you’re new to golf, looking to lower your handicap, or working toward competitive goals, my focus is on practical instruction, measurable improvement, and helping you get more out of your game.
