About the coach
I am a South African PGA professional, living and working in Norway since 2005.
I have worked full-time as a golf professional since 2000, and I like to keep myself up-to-date with technology and golf swing trends and changes.
I have used video swing analysis since 2001 as well as launch monitors.
My clients say what separates me from other coaches is my communication. I have a simple way of explaining complex issues.
I have coached golfers of all levels for many years including college golfers and tour professionals.
I like to coach the person in front of me and do not have a specific swing philosophy. I am a strong believer in cause and effect in the golf swing, so my main focus is always finding the root cause of the problem. By adressing the cause first a number of resulting errors are corrected automatically.

Its been great working with Donovan on Skillest. His feedback is extremely clear and actionable, he explains what to change and how to train it in a way thats easy to understand and apply. The video analysis is detailed without being overwhelming, and he uses great visuals/comparisons that make the adjustments click.

Insight was detailed, yet easy to understand , using easy concepts and graphics to assist the analysis, drill provided not too complex with too many aids, a simple movement and feel drill with an idea of how we want the swing to look at certain zones, this makes it easy to keep track of and compare as I work on the swing
