About the coach
Professional Baseball Pitcher and Coach
I started my professional baseball journey when the Toronto Blue Jays selected me in the 24th round of the 2014 MLB Draft. Over the years, I progressed through various levels in the Blue Jays' minor league system, finally playing for the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons. During this time, I achieved a minor league record of 38-33 with a 3.81 ERA, striking out 468 batters over 569 innings in 166 games. Notably, I celebrated Minor League championships with the Dunedin Blue Jays in 2017 and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats in 2018.
Transitioning to the Colorado Rockies organization, I joined the Albuquerque Isotopes (AAA) but faced an unfortunate injury in my first inning with the Rockies Organization, leading to Tommy John Surgery and an 18-month rehabilitation period.
After my recovery, I continued my career with the Lake Country DockHounds in the American Association. In the 2023 season, I pitched 72.3 innings over 14 games, all of which I started. I recorded a 3-6 record with a 5.85 ERA, striking out 46 batters while walking 18. One of my standout performances was a seven-inning game against the Kane County Cougars, where I allowed just one run on four hits and struck out six without issuing a walk.
Throughout my journey, I showed resilience and dedication, especially during my recovery from surgery. I am fervent about mentoring younger players and passing on my pitching expertise to the next generation. Presently, I am committed to pitching instruction and player development, providing personalized coaching to aspiring athletes.
