Teaching Philosophy
I believe better golf doesn’t need to be complicated — it just needs the right plan. Too many golfers are stuck in a cycle of trying random tips, overthinking their swing, and losing confidence on the course. My job is to simplify the process, identify what’s actually causing your bad shots, and give you a clear plan that works for your game. Every golfer moves differently, learns differently, and has different goals. That’s why I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether you’re trying to stop slicing, strike the ball more consistently, gain distance, improve your short game, or finally break 90, everything is tailored to you. My coaching combines video analysis, launch monitor data, and simple communication to help you understand your swing without overwhelming you with technical information. I focus on changes that actually transfer onto the golf course — not just the driving range. As a Scott Cowx Certified coach, my understanding of the swing is grounded in biomechanics and movement patterns, helping me identify the root cause of issues rather than just treating symptoms. Most importantly, I want coaching to feel clear, supportive, and enjoyable. Golf is hard enough already. I’m a PGA Accredited Teaching Professional based in Scotland with over 14 years of full-time coaching experience, helping golfers of all levels play better golf with simpler, more effective coaching.
