Teaching Philosophy
I believe that great coaching starts with great information. Too many golfers spend years guessing why their ball goes left, why they can't get distance, or why their short game lets them down under pressure. My approach takes the guesswork out entirely. Using TrackMan's advanced ball and club data, I can show you exactly what's happening at the moment of impact — and more importantly, what we need to change to fix it. Every lesson I give is grounded in real data, clear communication, and a personalised plan built around your specific game and goals. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all instruction. Whether you're a complete beginner picking up a club for the first time, or a competitive player trying to sharpen your scoring, I tailor every session to where you are right now and where you want to go. My goal is simple: to help you enjoy golf more. That means building a swing and a short game you can trust, giving you the practice habits that actually transfer to the course, and ensuring that every time you tee it up, you feel more confident and more prepared. Golf is a challenging game — but it should always be fun.
About the coach
I'm an Australian Certified PGA Professional Coach, currently based at Peninsula Kingswood Country Golf Club — one of the most technologically advanced golf facilities in the world. My coaching career has taken me from Brisbane's thriving indoor golf scene, where I worked as Head Professional at Golf 24 Hendra, to the Centre of Excellence at Education City Golf Club Qatar, a European Tour host venue equipped with high-tech tuition studios, an indoor putting lab, and a full TrackMan driving range. Throughout my journey I've developed a deep passion for two things: the science of the golf swing, and the human side of coaching. I love helping golfers of all backgrounds discover what's really holding their game back and giving them a clear, achievable roadmap forward. My Advanced Coaching credentials mean I've invested heavily in my own professional development so I can bring the very best instruction to every student I work with. Whether you're local to Melbourne, travelling through, or looking to work with me remotely through video analysis and online coaching, I'd love to help you get more out of your golf game. The sport has given me so much — and every lesson is an opportunity to share that passion with someone else.
