Hey there, I'm David — former pro golfer turned golf coach, content creator, and your new favorite swing-roasting Canadian. I’ve been golfing for over 30 years (yep, since before oversized drivers were even a thing), and I started playing professionally in the early 2000s, racked up 12 wins, and eventually traded tour life for Bible school, a family, and an even deeper obsession with the game.

Now, after three decades of studying, swinging, failing, fixing, and helping golfers at every level, I’ve built Big Swing Kings — a place where golf gets simpler, funnier, and a whole lot more consistent.
You might’ve seen me online breaking down swings with dad jokes, teaching compression that snap, or working through drills with one-length irons. I coach with a no-fluff, impact-first philosophy that helps real golfers hit better shots faster — without needing a PhD in biomechanics.

How do I receive feedback from my coach?

You will receive feedback from your coach through the Skillest app. Your coach will record their own videos with their analysis as well as additional drills to work on and send them back to you inside the lesson. You can watch your coach’s analysis, which may include video, audio, text, or drawings and see the changes and improvements they suggest for your swing. You can also ask your coach follow-up questions you have, and chat with them through the app. You can also review your feedback and track your progress anytime on the app.

What are the different types of lesson plans I can purchase?
