Teaching Philosophy
I'm here to help you feel confident when you play — not by giving you more swing thoughts, but by helping you understand your own movement. I focus on biomechanics and body-club geometry, but I keep it simple. The goal isn't perfect positions — it's building skills you can trust under pressure. I believe the golf game is rich and complex, and that we as humans are too. That's why my approach meets you where you are, whether you're a beginner finding your footing or an experienced player working to break through a plateau. I work every day to get better as a coach by learning from players, studying what actually works, and collaborating with mentors I respect. My goal is that you leave each lesson understanding what you're working on, why it matters, and how to coach yourself — even when I'm not watching. Improvement takes time and commitment, but it can also be fun and uplifting. If you want clarity, structure, and coaching built around your game, I've got you.
About the coach
I'm an LPGA Class A Teaching Professional based in Healdsburg, California, with over 20 years of experience coaching golfers of all ages and skill levels. My journey in golf began in Memphis, Tennessee, where I picked up a club at age eight. By high school, I was breaking records and winning tournaments — ultimately earning a Division I scholarship to Arkansas State University, where I captured two individual titles, earned four All-Sun Belt Conference selections, and helped lead the team to the 2000 Sun Belt Conference Championship. I was later inducted into the Arkansas State Hall of Honor as the first women's golfer to receive that recognition. After graduating with a degree in Sports Management, I chose coaching over professional play. My career began with The First Tee in Memphis before I relocated to Northern California in 2005, eventually becoming the teaching professional at Healdsburg Golf Club. Since earning my LPGA Class A membership in 2010, I've taught over 5,000 students and delivered more than 20,000 lessons. I hold additional certifications as a U.S. Kids Golf Coach, Tathata Golf Certified Movement Specialist, and Top 50 Operation 36 Golf Coach. Whether in person or online through video analysis, I offer personalized practice plans grounded in biomechanics, data, and real skill-building — not quick fixes. I'm also proud to be an out member of the LGBTQ+ community, creating a welcoming space where every golfer belongs.

- Let’s get together face-to-face for an hour and put in some work. Ideally you are already an existing student of mine, and have done a video analysis lesson first. I want you to see how I analyze your swing so you can begin to learn how to do it yourself, and to see what positions we are trying to hit and why. So when you film, you can check and see on your own.
Single Lesson Analysis
1 Online Lesson- Detailed video analysis of your golf swing with voice over, covering Down The Line and Face On views. Roughly 15+ minutes of analysis.
- Supplemental video where I demonstrate the concepts discussed in the analysis, dive deeper into your specific matchups, and demo the recommended drills.
- 15 Minute follow up call to chat about concepts and answer questions to make sure you are clear on the plan.
