About the coach

Alex Hamilton – PGA Golf Coach

Alex Hamilton is an accomplished PGA Professional with extensive experience in both elite competition and coaching. He currently teaches out of Seabrook Golf Club in Tasmania, helping golfers of all levels improve their technique, lower scores, and build confidence on the course.

Alex’s coaching career has included positions as Head Coach at Guiyang Golf Academy in China and Teaching Professional at Sandringham Golf Academy, where he developed players across all skill levels and gained valuable international and high-performance coaching experience.

A standout during his PGA training, Alex graduated in 2015 as a Top 10 Academic PGA Traineeship graduate and also finished Top 10 in scoring average nationwide. Before turning professional, he proudly represented Tasmania eight times at state level. His playing career has also included multiple Pro-Am victories, with a career-low round of 61 (-7).
