Teaching Philosophy
Golf is more than just a game — it's a journey of continuous improvement, mental discipline, and personal growth. My philosophy has always been to keep things simple: the best swing is one that's repeatable, effective, and enjoyable to execute. Over more than two decades of coaching, I've found that when golfers truly understand why they're making a change — not just what to change — the results stick. I combine technical expertise with TrackMan data and video analysis to give you objective feedback, so every lesson is grounded in evidence, not guesswork. But data is only one part of the picture. I take the time to really listen, to understand your goals, your frustrations, and your game before we work on anything. Whether you're a complete beginner picking up a club for the first time or a competitive player chasing a breakthrough, my job is to meet you where you are and build a clear, personalised pathway forward. I want every student to leave the lesson feeling more confident and with practical things to work on — because enjoyment and improvement go hand in hand.
About the coach
I'm a PGA Professional with over 20 years of experience coaching golfers of all abilities across some of Surrey's finest clubs. Having started my career in Leicester, I moved to Surrey and joined The Wisley while completing my PGA degree, before going on to hold Head Professional positions at St Georges Hill, Epsom Golf Club, and now The Drift Golf Club and Epsom Golf Club. Throughout my career I've worked alongside tour professionals and top coaches, absorbing a wide range of techniques and approaches that I bring to every lesson I give. My lessons use TrackMan launch monitor technology and video analysis to deliver clear, actionable feedback — so you always know exactly what's happening in your swing and what to do about it. I offer everything from 30-minute focused sessions to on-course lessons and block lesson packages, all tailored to your specific goals.
