Improving your ball striking isn’t always about making technical changes to your golf swing. Sometimes, it’s about learning how to train properly and developing the skills needed to make better contact with the golf ball. As a PGA Advanced Coach specialising in golf biomechanics, one of the biggest things I try to educate golfers on is understanding the difference between working on their golf swing and actually training their ball striking skills. Throughout this course, I’ll take you through a collection of my favourite drills, exercises and training methods designed to improve your low point control, arc depth and strike location across the clubface. We’ll look at how to use simple feedback tools, practise from different lies, challenge your strike under pressure and, most importantly, understand how to structure your practice to get the most out of it. This course isn’t about constantly changing your swing mechanics or worrying about start line and curvature. It’s about putting more attention on the quality of your contact and learning how to train that skill effectively. Whether you’re struggling with inconsistent contact or simply looking to become a better ball striker, my goal is to give you the tools and knowledge to take ownership of your training and improve your strike quality.
