About the coach
🏆 TREVOR SALZMAN — TOUR COACH | PLAYER DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST
Helping golfers improve through a structured development system built around Contact, Distance, Ball Flight Ownership, and Performance.
Most golfers don't struggle because they aren't working hard enough.
They struggle because they're working on the wrong thing.
My role is to identify the area of your game that will have the greatest impact on your performance and build a clear plan for improvement.
Whether you're a recreational golfer, competitive amateur, junior golfer, college player, or professional, every player enters the same development system and follows a pathway based on their individual needs.
⸻
🎯 THE TS GOLF DEVELOPMENT SYSTEM
Every golfer has a Primary Performance Constraint — the single factor currently having the greatest influence on their performance.
The goal is to identify that constraint and place you into the appropriate Development Pathway.
Development Pathways include:
✅ Contact Development
Master low-point control, strike quality, compression, and impact consistency.
✅ Distance Development
Increase club speed, ball speed, carry distance, and athletic movement capabilities.
✅ Ball Flight Ownership
Develop the ability to intentionally create, adapt, and reproduce ball flights through start line control, curvature control, trajectory control, and shot design.
✅ Performance Development
Transfer technical skill into lower scores through decision-making, course management, competitive preparation, and performance training.
⸻
📈 DEVELOPMENT HIERARCHY
The Development Pathways follow a structured hierarchy:
1. Contact Development
2. Distance Development
3. Ball Flight Ownership
4. Performance Development
If significant contact variability exists, Contact Development will always be recommended first.
Why?
Because predictable contact is the foundation upon which distance, ball flight ownership, and performance are built.
Without consistent strike quality:
• Ball speed becomes inconsistent
• Curvature becomes inconsistent
• Distance becomes inconsistent
• Performance becomes difficult to evaluate
⸻
🧠 MY COACHING PHILOSOPHY
Golf improvement should not be based on chasing positions.
It should be based on understanding cause and effect.
Every movement creates an impact condition.
Every impact condition creates a ball flight.
Every ball flight creates a performance outcome.
My coaching focuses on helping players understand:
• Why the ball is doing what it is doing
• How movement influences impact
• How impact influences ball flight
• How ball flight influences performance
The goal is not simply to create a better-looking golf swing.
The goal is to create measurable improvements in contact, distance, ball flight, and performance.
⸻
🏌️ COACHING EXPERIENCE
For nearly two decades, I have worked with golfers ranging from beginners and junior golfers to college players, professionals, and PGA Tour winners.
I currently serve as coach to PGA Tour winners Brian Gay and Mark Hensby, helping players improve through measurable performance outcomes rather than swing aesthetics alone.
My coaching education has been influenced by some of the game's most respected minds, including:
• Andy Plummer
• Hugh Marr
• Andreas Kali
Their mentorship helped shape the principles that now form the foundation of the TS Golf Development System.
Over the years, one lesson has remained constant:
The golf ball tells the truth.
Every movement creates an impact condition.
Every impact condition creates a ball flight.
Every ball flight creates a performance outcome.
My role is to help players understand those relationships and build skills that transfer to the golf course under pressure.

🎥 HOW ONLINE COACHING WORKS
Step 1 — Start with a TS Golf Performance Assessment or Select a Development Pathway
New players may begin with a stand-alone TS Golf Performance Assessment or enroll directly into a Development Pathway.
The Performance Assessment is recommended for players seeking a professional evaluation, a clear development roadmap, and a recommendation into the appropriate pathway.
Step 2 — Submit Your Videos
Please submit:
• Face-On View
• Down-The-Line View
• Rear View
Whenever possible, include:
• Starting Direction
• Curvature
• Trajectory
• Carry Distance
• Strike Location
• Turf Interaction
Step 3 — Receive Detailed Coaching Feedback
Each review includes:
• Video Analysis
• Voice-Over Coaching
• Visual Overlays
• Practice Recommendations
• Custom Drills
• Improvement Priorities
Step 4 — Develop Through Your Pathway
Players receive:
• Unlimited Coach Access
• Unlimited Video Submissions
• Unlimited Messaging

Trevor does an awesome job of being consistent in what he teaches you. He always takes your ball flight into account, but doesnt change around drills or advice all the time, because he identifies root…
