Teaching Philosophy

I believe great coaching starts with understanding the individual, their goals, their current game, and how they learn best. Great coaching is not just the coach understanding your golf game, but more importantly yourself as the player understanding your own game. Over 10 years of working with golfers of every age and ability, I've seen first-hand that sustainable improvement comes from understanding why the ball does what it does, and understanding positions that work to get the outcome we want. That's why I've invested heavily in Trackman technology and earned both Level 1 and Level 2 certification so every lesson is grounded in real data, not guesswork. When you step into a session with me, we're not relying on feel alone; we're looking at the numbers that tell the true story of your swing. I use that data to identify the root cause of any issue and build a clear, prioritised plan to fix it. Whether you're a complete beginner picking up a club for the first time or a seasoned player trying to break a scoring barrier, my approach is always the same: simplify the complex, give you feedback you can understand and act on, and make sure every practice session has purpose. Golf can be incredibly rewarding when you have a clear path forward, and that's exactly what I'm here to provide.
