Teaching Philosophy
I believe that great golf comes down to three things you can control: your setup, your sequence, and your finish. After more than three decades of coaching players at every level — from beginners to collegiate competitors — I've found that simplifying the swing around these fundamentals produces faster, more lasting improvement than chasing complicated fixes. My approach is built on clear communication and consistency. I meet every student where they are and build a plan tailored specifically to their game. Whether you're a junior just picking up the club for the first time, an avid amateur looking to break through a scoring barrier, or a serious competitor preparing for collegiate play, I bring the same focused attention and proven methodology to every lesson. I also believe strongly in taking the game to where it's played — on the course — not just on the practice range. Real improvement happens when students learn to manage their game in real conditions. My goal is always to make you a more confident, capable, and consistent golfer.
About the coach
I'm Robin 'Rob' Sanders, a PGA Professional based in Dallas, Texas, and the founder of Core Golf School. I've been a PGA member since 1991 and have spent over 37 years coaching golfers of all ages and skill levels across the Dallas–Fort Worth area and beyond. My career has taken me through some of the most respected golf venues in the region, including the Four Seasons Hotel Resort, Butler National, and John Jacobs Golf Schools, before I established Core Golf School in 1999 to bring my teaching philosophy together under one roof. Over the course of my career, I've had the privilege of working with more than 175 collegiate players — including Tour professionals Trip Kuehne, Henry Kuehne, and Vincent Whaley. I've also been deeply committed to growing the game at the grassroots level: I developed the first golf program at Plano Sports Authority, established inner-city golf programming for West Dallas Community School, and was the first instructor to offer off-campus golf programs through both Plano ISD and Rockwall ISD. My teaching is grounded in three controllable fundamentals — setup, sequence, and finish — and backed by certifications in the Natural Golf (Moe Norman) method, professional club fitting, and study at the Titleist Performance Institute. I work with golfers of all backgrounds, and I offer tailored one-on-one lessons, multi-lesson packages, on-course sessions, and specialized clinics.
