Over the course of the years following Richards’s passion for understanding the intricacies of the golf swing and thirst for knowledge led him to the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. 〰️Richard is the Director of Instruction at KDV Sport Golf Academy, Gold Coast, Australia working with players focused on long term development of all skill levels. 〰️Over the past 15 years Richard has had the opportunity to work with a number of male and female touring professionals and elite amateurs achieving national and international wins on respective tours. 〰️Along with the role of overseeing the Academy Richard works with 20+ tour players across 5 of the major global tours, and is also on the coaching panel for Golf Australia/QLD QAS Squad. With students having wins at the highest amateur level, and professional tours alike Richard was recognised in being named as 2013 and 2015 Queensland State Teacher of the Year and in 2016 PGA of Australia National Teacher of the Year. Most recently now presented with 2019 Coach of the Year honours for the Qld PGA division.
