Teaching Philosophy
I have seen through coaching that there is a better movement solution for every player. Great coaching starts with understanding the individual, their body, their movement, their tendencies, their goals and the demands of their game. My approach is centred on understanding rather than prescribing. Instead of teaching a collection of positions or forcing players to copy a particular model, I identify the movements that influence their strike and ball flight, then develop changes that are both effective and natural for that individual. The goal isn't to create a swing that simply looks better. It's to create a swing that is more functional, therefore repeatable. I want my students to understand their golf rather than become dependent on constant instruction. Every change has a purpose, every drill has a reason, and every practice session should move the player closer to being more consistent and confident on the course. I also believe technical improvement and performance are inseparable. A golfer can make a beautiful swing on the range and still struggle when the pressure rises. That's why my coaching incorporates mental performance, decision-making and the ability to trust your movement when it matters. My job is to make improvement clearer, more individual and more transferable to the course. Understand the movement. Build the skill. Trust the swing. Perform.
About the coach
Most golfers don’t need more golf tips. They need to understand what is actually limiting their game.
My coaching is built around understanding how your body moves, how that movement influences the club, and how it ultimately affects the strike and ball flight.
Rather than forcing every golfer into the same positions or chasing the latest swing tip, I look at the individual in front of me. My job is to identify what matters, eliminate the noise and give you a clear direction for improvement.
My journey from collegiate golfer to tour professional and now coach has given me a perspective that goes beyond technical instruction. I know what it feels like to stand over a shot when it matters. I understand the difference between a swing that looks good on the range and one that can be trusted when you're under pressure on the course.
That experience is at the heart of my coaching.
I'm also a certified Fluid Motion Factor instructor, incorporating principles of movement and mental performance into my coaching to help players perform more freely and consistently when it matters most.
I work with golfers across all levels, but the objective is always the same: build a more capable player who understands their game and can perform when it counts.
I'm particularly known for my approach to chipping and short-game development. I've developed a structured system that gives golfers a clearer understanding of greenside technique, improves their contact and control, and replaces uncertainty with confidence.
For years, my coaching has been all in person. I recently began offering online coaching after requests from players who wanted coaching regardless of where they are in the world.

Online coaching combines my coaching methodology with detailed video analysis, Sportsbox 3D technology and individualised practice strategies to give you clarity on your swing, a plan for improvement and expert guidance as you progress.
And coaching doesn't stop when the swing analysis is finished. I also work with my students on mental performance, confidence and the ability to take what we work on into competition and onto the course.
Just a coaching approach built around your movement, your swing, your mindset and your goals.
