About the coach
“Those who think they can and those who think they can’t are both usually right” - Confucius
My name is Coach Mike and I “Breathe Baseball”. My purpose and passion is to have a positive impact on as many people as I can in my time on this planet. The vehicle I have chosen to do so in is Baseball and Fitness. 16 years experience coaching teams at every level of baseball and training players & athletes alike to exceed their potential as human beings. I got right into coaching after my playing career and haven’t looked back. I am an optimist, who believes in helping all different skill levels understand their physical body better and their kinesiology and/or movement patterns. Understanding how your body moves and being able to apply it to your (load, swing, delivery, fielding position, throw, etc) is huge.
My thinking is to never box players into one style. We will work together to find the right blend of drills, physical movements and mental skills to build a routine you can be consistent with.
Years of experience coaching teams, private instruction, strength & conditioning trainer and owning a baseball facility have equipped me to solve almost any mechanical, physical or mental hurdle that comes your way.
One of my favorite coaches of all time is John Wooden, UCLA Basketball Legend. He says it best with this quote “A good coach can change a game. A great coach can change a life.” Not only will I strive to help your skills and confidence on the field. I will also challenge you to become the strongest version of yourself in other areas of your life and be an accountability resource.
Thanks for reading and I look forward to meeting you very soon!
