About Myself 👋
I’m Matthew McFarlane, a PGA Professional with a deep passion for golf and a commitment to helping others improve and enjoy the game. I’ve been a proud member of the Murray Downs Golf Club, and over the years, I’ve built a reputation for being not only knowledgeable about the game’s finer details but also for making learning golf fun and approachable.

My journey with golf started when I was just 11 years old, and it quickly turned into a lifelong obsession. I truly love sharing this game with others. For me, golf isn’t just a sport, it’s a way to connect people and create lasting memories.

Whether you’re just getting started or you’re already competing, my aim is to help you sharpen your technique so you can shoot lower scores and enjoy the game even more.

I like to break things down in a way that’s easy to understand and by using simple language and practical drills you can do both at the range and right at home. I’ve seen players make huge progress using just their backyard or living room, and I genuinely believe anyone can improve, no matter their setup.

My lessons and coaching packages on Skillest are built around your convenience. All you need to do is send over a couple of swing videos (ideally one from down the line and one face-on), share how things feel for you, and describe the ball flights or misses you usually see on the course. From there, I’ll review and annotate your swings, then send you a tailored video that clearly walks through what to focus on and how to improve.
