Teaching Philosophy
My coaching is built on one core belief: that swing direction is the foundation of everything. When golfers understand how club path and face angle work together to shape ball flight, the game suddenly makes sense. I've spent years studying the swing at every level — from competitive amateur players to Division I collegiate athletes — and the golfers who improve fastest are the ones who build their technique on clear, repeatable principles rather than tips and quick fixes. I use video analysis and launch data to give every student an objective look at what's actually happening in their swing, cutting through guesswork and giving you a roadmap for real improvement. Whether you're a beginner picking up a club for the first time or a competitive player chasing a lower handicap, I meet you where you are. My approach is direct but encouraging — I want you to understand the 'why' behind every change, because when you understand it, you own it. The goal is always the same: to build a swing you can trust, on the course, under pressure, for life.
About the coach
I help golfers turn information into measurable improvement.
As a former NCAA Division I head coach with nearly two decades of coaching experience, I take a complete-player approach to development. My coaching combines technical analysis, performance assessment, practice design and accountability to give each player a clear path forward.
I coach the full game—including ball striking, putting, short game, speed development, course strategy and competitive performance. Every lesson ends with a clear understanding of what matters most, why it matters and exactly how to train it.
Whether you need a one-time evaluation or ongoing coaching, the goal is the same: build a game that performs when it counts.
