With 12 years experience working exclusively as a Putting Coach and nearly 10 years as a Certified AimPoint Instructor, my career as a PGA Professional has been dedicated to helping players improve their game on the greens. I do not offer long game or short game lessons.
I pride myself on keeping my lessons friendly, to the point & easy to understand.
Having played for over 50 years & competed at a high level both as an amateur and professional, I have a vast amount of experience to draw upon.
I coach all levels and types of player, from novice golfers, to competitive juniors & amateurs all the way through to winners on the DP World Tour.

- I've been a Certified AimPoint Coach for 10 years and taken hundreds of players (including DP World Tour winners) through this process, now you can learn the exact same system from me online.
- I will break down the learning process into 3 easy to follow lessons and you will receive follow up lesson notes directly from AimPoint Golf on completion of the course.
- Lesson 1.
- I will explain the background to how (and why) AimPoint works. You'll learn how the system has evolved over the years and why the current method is the most simple, effective and easy to use version of the most accurate green reading system in the world. I'll explain to you what skills you will need to learn and practice to apply to the method - and how to do this.
- We'll start with the short putt read - from 3ft to 6ft. You'll learn how to read these putts using AimPoint and you'll have everything you need to put this straight into play.
- Lesson 2.
- We will recap the information from Lesson 1 and then move onto mid-range putts. You'll learn what changes you'll need to make as putt lengths increase and I'll introduce you to the concept of "directional reads" which will enhance and improve the accuracy of your reads.
- Lesson 3.
- We will recap the information from Lessons 1 and 2, then move onto long range putts, I will also explain to you how to adjust your reads for changing green speeds. We will finish with double breaking putts.
- I will also provide you with advice on how you can practice your AimPoint skills to get the most from your new green reading method.

- 1 x 2 hour session. If you’re ready to find out more and dive into the finer details of AimPoint, this is the lesson for you. Areas to cover: I’ll check your current AimPoint process is correct. Feeling the slopes - learn how to identify the difference between the key slope % numbers. Calibration - understand how the rate of break changes & how this affects your read. Drop Point - find out if your green reading preferences are “linear” or “non-linear” & how to maximise the accuracy of your AimPoint read. Directional Read - this advanced technique ensures you are standing in the correct spot to get the numbers that matter. Chipping read - new for 2026. A simple and accurate way to calculate how much break to allow for all your chips.

Performance Consistency

- 1 x 90 minute session. The putt is just the outcome of everything that goes before it. If your pre-putt process is inconsistent (or non-existent), don’t be surprised to see that reflected in your outcome consistency. The secret of an effective pre-putt process is to keep your actions and your focus centred on the task in hand. We’ll work through the “think box” / “play box” process and build in actions to switch from preparation to play. I’ll provide you with a key game to play that will give you your consistency score. As this score increases, your golf score will reduce. As a qualified Master Mind Factor Coach for over 10 years, I have trained with one of the world’s leading performance coaches in Karl Morris and look forward to sharing this knowledge with you.
Single Lesson - Speed & Distance Control
1 Online Lesson- Speed is king on the greens. Learn how to master your distance control skills by understanding the 3 key metrics that are vital to improving your rhythm, timing and tempo. I will require a face on video of you hitting a putt to 10ft, 20ft & 30ft. I will analyse your current technique and provide a clear explanation & demonstration of the changes you need to make along with drills to make your time on the practice green as effective as possible.
