Teaching Philosophy

I've spent nearly two decades competing at the highest level of women's professional golf, and everything I learned out on the Ladies European Tour — the mental battles, the technical refinements, the course management decisions — I now bring directly into my coaching. Golf is complicated enough without overcomplicating it further, so my approach is built around clear, simple communication that leads to real, tangible improvements. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned club golfer, I tailor every lesson to where you are right now and where you want to go. I'm a firm believer that anyone can improve with the right guidance and the right environment. Having coached alongside competing on tour, I understand what it takes to balance learning with performance pressure — and I use that insight to help my students build not just better swings, but genuine confidence in their game. I also have a deep passion for growing women's and junior golf, and I love seeing new players fall in love with this sport just as I did at age 12.

About the coach

I'm a professional golfer and coach with over 18 years of experience competing on the Ladies European Tour. My career has taken me around the world, racking up 5 professional wins across 4 different tours — most notably the 2012 ISPS Handa Ladies British Masters and the 2016 Wales National PGA Championship, where I made history as the first woman ever to win a PGA national tournament. I've competed in 8 AIG Women's Opens, 1 US Women's Open, and accumulated over 300 LET starts.

Alongside my playing career, I've built a genuine passion for coaching. I completed two and a half years of my PGA training while competing on tour and served as a PGA Teaching Assistant at Hensol Golf Academy in Bridgend, Wales. I've run group clinics and ladies' golf sessions aimed at welcoming more women and juniors into the sport — because I believe golf is for everyone.

My coaching style is straightforward: I draw on real tour experience to give you practical, honest feedback that actually moves the needle. No jargon, no fuss — just clear, effective communication and a genuine commitment to helping you improve. I work with golfers of all abilities and take pride in making every student feel comfortable, motivated, and capable of progress.
