About the coach

My name is Joseph "Joe" Lussier and I am a seasoned golfer with over 20 years of experience. I was born and raised in Virginia and have been a PGA Professional Instructor for the past 6 years. I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to serve as an instructor at 1757 golf club for 13 years. My passion and goal as an instructor is to guide students of all ages and help them fall in love with the game of golf and the journey it takes to improve.

I take great pride in being able to help junior golf students achieve collegiate golf scholarships, as it is a testament to my ability to help them reach their full potential. Not only am I an accomplished instructor, but I am also an accomplished player. I competed in the 2019 PGA Professional Championship and recently placed in the top 10 in the 2021 VA State Open.

As my passion for golf grows each year, so does my motivation to guide my students. I am a "go-getter" with a positive mindset and I welcome any student who is eager to learn the game and embark on their own journey. I believe that golf is a game for life, and it should be enjoyable for everyone. That's why I strive to make every lesson fun, interactive and informative.

I am dedicated to providing my students with the most current and effective swing techniques, as well as tips on course management, mental preparation, and other aspects of the game. I use the latest technology such as video analysis to help my students understand and improve their swing mechanics. I also work closely with my students to develop personalized practice plans that will help them achieve their goals.

I am also committed to providing excellent service, and I am always available to answer any questions or concerns my students may have. I am passionate about the game of golf and I am dedicated to helping my students achieve their full potential.
