Teaching Philosophy
Having competed at the highest levels of professional golf — on the European Tour, Challenge Tour, and Sunshine Tour — I understand first-hand what it takes to build a game that holds up under pressure. My coaching philosophy is rooted in one core belief: the best thing I can do for any golfer is help them understand their own swing so deeply that they can coach themselves on the practice range and on the course. I use cutting-edge technology including Trackman and 3D motion analysis to diagnose what's really happening in your swing, and I combine that with proven methodologies like Stack and Tilt and the Scott Cowx system to build technically sound, repeatable movement patterns. Every lesson is personalised to your specific needs, your goals, and your schedule. I provide clear monthly focuses, personalised practice plans after every session, and ongoing communication so you're never left guessing about what to work on next. About the coach
I'm a PGA Advanced Golf Coach and former professional golfer with over 20 years of experience at the highest levels of the game. I competed on the European Tour, Challenge Tour, and Sunshine Tour, reaching The Open Championship at Royal Troon in 2004, and amassed over 50 PGA Tournament victories including the 2021 PGA South Order of Merit. That playing career — and the time I spent working alongside some of the world's greatest coaches — shaped every aspect of how I teach today. I've now delivered over 20,000 lessons to golfers of every ability, from first-timers picking up a club to Tour professionals fine-tuning their game. Based at Richings Park Golf Club in London, I offer both in-person and online coaching, with a strong emphasis on video analysis, personalised practice planning, and regular communication to keep every student progressing. My qualifications span multiple advanced frameworks including Scott Cowx Advanced 9.0, Stack and Tilt, Trackman (Level 1 & 2), SportsBox 3D, and US Kids Golf coaching.
