Teaching Philosophy
I believe that golf improvement shouldn't be complicated. My entire coaching approach is built around making things simple to understand and easy to apply — because when a golfer truly understands what to do and why, the results follow fast. Over more than a decade of coaching all levels of golfer, I've learned that the biggest breakthroughs come from clarity, not complexity. Every student I work with gets a tailored plan built around their game. I start by getting to know your goals and current performance, using on-course stats tracking to pinpoint exactly where shots are being lost. From there, I develop custom drills and a structured practice plan designed to fast-track your improvement in the areas that matter most. I'm passionate about short game and putting — areas where most amateurs leak the most shots — but I cover every part of the game, from building a powerful and repeatable backswing to fixing a slice off the tee and developing a strong mental pre-shot routine. I'm always learning from the best coaches in the world, and I bring that continuous development into every lesson I deliver. Whether you're just starting out or looking to sharpen a competitive game, my goal is simple: get you playing your best golf.
About the coach
I'm a PGA Advanced Professional and Certified Putting Instructor based at Aberdour Golf Club in Fife, Scotland, with over 10 years of experience coaching golfers of all abilities. My journey in golf began in Bulgaria, where I won the Bulgarian Amateur Open in 2006 and went on to represent my country in the World Amateur Team Championships — the Eisenhower Trophy — at just 17 years old in South Africa. I turned professional shortly after, began my PGA training in London in 2012, qualified as a PGA Professional in 2016, and have since served as Head Professional at three clubs across Scotland.
In 2024, I was recognised with PGA Advanced Professional status — an accolade awarded to professionals who demonstrate excellence across all aspects of their role. I'm also one of only a handful of Certified Putting Instructors in the country, and short game and putting are where I love to help golfers make the biggest gains.
Beyond the lesson tee, I've built a growing online presence with over 1.5 million YouTube views and an active coaching community across social media. I now work with students from the USA, Canada, Dubai, the Dominican Republic, Norway, Australia, and beyond — delivering personalised video feedback, tailored drills, and data-driven coaching plans using Arccos performance tracking.
