About the coach
I became a golf coach because I believe the game has the power to teach people something far bigger than how to swing a club — it teaches patience, and that's a life skill.
My coaching starts before I ever look at your swing. I want to know who you are: how you learn, what your body allows, what your goals are, and what enjoyment means to you. Because golf improvement isn't something I do to you — it's something we build together.
I don't believe in one correct swing model. Every student I work with is different — different height, age, mobility, experience, and ambition — and my coaching reflects that. I have informed preferences, like where to start with beginners, but I never force anyone into a shape that doesn't fit them.
I keep things simple, deliberately. I've seen too many coaches overwhelm students with feedback, hide behind training aids, or use technical language to sound impressive rather than to actually help. I do the opposite. Clear communication. One thing at a time. And always — enjoyment first.
I put a heavy emphasis on the short game, especially with beginners, because it's where scores are made and where confidence grows fastest. And I use transfer training to make sure what we work on in practice actually shows up on the course, where it counts.
Whether you come to me once a week or every day, whether you want to lower your handicap or just enjoy your Sunday round more — I'll meet you where you are. My job is to make sure you leave every session feeling happy, making progress, and looking forward to the next one.
Golf is harder than it looks. But with the right coach beside you, it's more rewarding than you ever imagined it could be.
