Teaching Philosophy
I won't rebuild your swing — that's your swing coach's job, and I work alongside several. My job is to make sure your body stops being the reason the swing breaks down. We screen how you move, prioritize the 2–3 physical qualities that matter most, then train and retest mobility, strength, and power.
About the coach
Your swing is only as good as the body swinging the club.
I'm Jason Jenkins — golf fitness coach, TPI Fitness Level 3 and Power Level 2 certified, NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and Fitness Director at Fox Den Country Club in Farragut, Tennessee. For 10+ years I've assessed how golfers move and trained the mobility, strength, and power qualities their swings are built on — including golfers working around injuries, post-rehab restrictions, and the mobility limits that quietly cause the swing faults coaches keep chasing.
How we work together:
1. TPI Movement Screen — film a short series of movements on your phone (I'll send exact instructions) or screen live with me over video.
2. Your Game Plan — you get a video breakdown of what your body is doing, how it maps to your swing, and the 2–3 priorities that matter most.
3. Train & Retest — a personalized mobility/strength/power program built from your screen, with video coaching, form checks, and progress re-screens.
I won't rebuild your swing — that's your swing coach's job, and I work alongside several. My job is to make sure your body stops being the reason the swing breaks down. If your miss comes from a hip that won't rotate, a spine that won't extend, or power you haven't built, that's exactly what I train.
Based in Knoxville, TN for in-person training (Ryse Golf); online coaching available anywhere.
