About the coach

Jarut Padung (Coach Ja) is a High Performance Golf Coach and PGA Class A-6 Professional Southwest Chapter Member. As a seasoned teacher of the game, he has taught more than 1000 days at golf schools. He is listed as Golf Digest Best Teachers in State(Arizona/Florida), Best Young Teachers in America 2016-17. With every student he works with, he strives to implement the building block approach in an effective, yet engaging style.
Where Jarut Is Teaching
Currently teaching at McCormick Ranch GC in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Jarut’s Diverse Experience
His teaching expertise stems from his time spent at (DLGA) IMG Academies, the Don Law Golf Academy, Hank Haney Ranch at Vista Ridge and most recently, TOURAcademy TPC Sawgrass and World Golf Village. Jarut enjoys teaching students of the game of all skill levels and ages including juniors, adults, ladies and seniors. His current students range from the age of 7-82.
Junior Golf
He has a special passion for instructing juniors and has taught over 2,000 kids – with many achieving success at major tournaments including the US Kids World Championship and the American Junior Golf Association.
Jarut takes pride in coaching his juniors. While instructing the technique, he loves the opportunity to be able to coach youngsters in setting themselves apart in other areas such as: precision, professionalism, random vs variable practice, tournament preparation, skill acquisition, goals setting, and skills development.
He has current students playing at the NCAA level, AJGA, US kids, NFJG, Optimist International, and IMG Junior World.
Seniors
As a TPI professional, he takes pride in his biomechanics knowledge to help his students design a golf swing that is pain free and specific to them. Jarut believes that he can help almost anyone generate a tremendous amount of ball speed through maximizing advantages and recognizing eccentric behavior.
Certifications
Jarut is certified to teach all instructional programs, and is proficient in utilizing the academies’ video and launch monitor technology while implementing his knowledge regarding biomechanics. He is a certified Flight Scope professional, Positive Coaching Alliance, TPI Level 1 Certified Professional, Hank Haney Level 1 Certified Professional, SAMS Putt lab certified Instructor, Dr. Kwon’s Biomechanics Certification, David Leadbetter Certified Instructor, US Kids Certified Instructor, PGA Tour Golf Academy WGV Senior Certified(Full swing/Short game building blocks, trackman data, biomechanics, Fitness, and club fitting), S&T Network Instructor, and Aimpoint (Green reading) Certified teacher.
