About the coach

James is a fully qualified PGA Professional and has been coaching for over a decade. James has always been intrigued and a keen student of the mechanics and intricacies of the golf swing. Having enjoyed a successful amateur career with a personal highlight of representing his country Wales, he decided to pursue his passion of coaching. Previous roles saw James become a successful coach at the prestigious Royal St David’s Golf Club in North Wales and then at the world famous Quest Golf Academy alongside fellow coaches Rick Shiels and Peter Finch. James’s coaching philosophy is built around the idea of using technology to simplify instruction, not complicate it.
